Our Story

About For The Pups

For The Pups was inspired by our love for our three babies, Deacon, Chloe, and Sebastián, and a desire to celebrate the everyday moments of life with them, to celebrate all pups, and to do good for pups in need.

Since we started For The Pups last year, our sweet Deacon left his beautiful life with us here on earth to live his beautiful life in heaven. He'll always be here with us in love and spirit, and we'll continue to live out his legacy. Our puppyKing. Forever fourteen.

Our family has also grown, and now our Token girl adds to the love and inspiration.

We believe life with pups is one of the greatest honors. They make everyday life feel more full, more purposeful, and bring so much love.

For The Pups began as a way to celebrate life with our pups, and all pups, and a way to meaningfully give back, doing good to help pups in need.

Doing good along the way

Giving back has always been a part of For The Pups.

10% of purchases from our shop helps support Austin area rescue dogs and organizations that care for and love them. We also organize volunteer events that we call volunteer parties, where people who love pups come together to help local shelters and rescues.

Our goal is to make it easier for people to show up, spend time with dogs who need them, and contribute in a meaningful way.

Sometimes doing good can feel complicated. We provide everything that's needed, you just show up with a love for pups.

The shop

Our shop was born from the same love for pups and pupParent life.

We wanted to create thoughtful, everyday goods for pups and pupParents, things you can wear or use while out living your best life with your pup. Pieces that feel comfortable, meaningful, and connected to the life we share with our pups.

Each item represents more than just a product. It’s part of our larger mission to celebrate pups and help pups in need. We donate 10% of every purchase to Austin area rescues.

For The Pups Photography

Alongside the shop, For The Pups Photography captures the moments that make life with pups so special.

From quiet portraits to adventures outdoors, photography allows us to document the magic and love that pups bring and share with their people. These images tell the stories that inspire everything we create, stories of big love, big feelings, personality, resilience, and all there is to celebrate.

10% of photography sessions are donated to local rescues and we gift photography shelters to pups waiting for their forever home to try to help them get seen and adopted (or even fostered).
